This theory only course where you can come to us for 1 day, or study in your own time. This course adheres to the Australian and New Zealand Standards - AS/NZS 4173:2004 Guide to the Safe use of Lasers in Health Care.

This course is essential for anyone using, or thinking about becoming involved in either IPL or Lasers in the beauty therapy, medical, or tattoo removal industries. It is vital you understand the principles of laser and Intense Pulsed Light science and the different technologies available in the market place.
This information packed course is designed to give students an indepth understanding of laser education.  We train our students in the fundamentals of how lasers work, promote safety methods and describe clinical applications in the industry, from hair reduction to laser resurfacing.

Not everyone is into the physics of a laser.  All of the science theory is taught with a professional yet down to earth, friendly approach, which is freely interactive, you can ask for explanations and situations that make this topic understandable.  It is our wish for you to have respect for this technology, IPL and lasers are not toys.  We want to ensure a secure working environment for client and staff, therefore it is important to fully appreciate potential risks and hazards associated with the use of these systems.  We will be covering the new regulations in force in Auckland as of July 2015 and how these may apply to your clinic across the country.

Students will leave with a thorough knowledge of lasers and IPL needed to be successful in their industry, and are better placed to ask the right questions when looking for new systems.
