This theory only course is now totally online. This course adheres to the Australian and New Zealand Standards - AS/NZS 4173:2004 Guide to the Safe use of Lasers in Health Care. Under special circumstances we may be able to hold a class for you ie if you have multiple staff all needing to do this prior to other laser or IPL training, or if you are new to this technology and are looking to purchase a device. It is so important this training is completed before you make your big financial decision, as "you dont know what you dont know". We provide you with all your clinical documentation and the knowledge to operate in a safe environment and to ask the right questions from your supplier. Course cost: $299.00 + GST per person. This course is essential for anyone using, or thinking about becoming involved in either IPL or Lasers in the beauty therapy, medical, or tattoo removal industries. It is vital you understand the principles of laser and Intense Pulsed Light science and the different technologies available in the market place. This information packed course is designed to give students an indepth understanding of laser education. We train our students in the fundamentals of how lasers work, promote safety methods and describe clinical applications in the industry, from hair reduction to laser resurfacing. Not everyone is into the physics of a laser. All of the science theory is taught with a professional yet down to earth, friendly approach, which is freely interactive, you can ask for explanations and situations that make this topic understandable. It is our wish for you to have respect for this technology, IPL and lasers are not toys.
