IPL & Laser Skin Rejuvenation

This 2 day intense course covers all aspects that come under the heading of skin rejuvenation. It is designed for therapists that have previous IPL or laser experience, so naturally follows on from the Academys other training courses; Laser Safety and IPL & Laser Hair Removal, and these are prerequisites for this more advanced course.

Course cost: $1075.00 + GST per person.

We will be studying, in depth, anatomy and physiology of the skin, as an understanding of pigmentation and vascular conditions will determine how best to treat them using IPL or laser. Theory of light, wavelength and tissue reactions will all be revised as well as the Fitzpatrick scale and tanning. Expected results and treatment programs are also covered at length.

Alternative and complimentary treatments will be discussed. Our tutors are very experienced skin technicians, and as there is such a range of product and skin treatments in the cosmetic industry, there are many opportunities to combine these with IPL or laser treatments, ultimately giving the client the best possible result.

Skin rejuvenation treatments, whether it be pigmentation, vascular conditions or collagen stimulation, all require specific techniques to be successful. Over 20 years of practice and learning have placed the IPL & Laser Training Academy in the perfect position to show you how to achieve the best results.

Who can study? You may be a doctor, nurse, beauty/dermal therapist or have already completed the IPL & Laser Training Academys hair removal course and wish to advance into skin treatments.  If you have been using IPL or Laser systems for a while and perhaps are looking into a new system to add these treatments to your clinic this will give you an excellent grounding for what can be achieved with skin rejuvenation. We may ask for evidence of previous training, or give you a refresher assessment prior to attending. As with all IPL and Laser courses run at the Academy, Laser Safety is a prerequisite.

Course structure: 2 days, 9.30am – 5.00pm. Morning and afternoon teas are provided. Plenty of parking is available. An in-depth training manual will be yours to take away for future reference. International level documentation for use in your clinic will be given to you at no extra charge. If you need any supplier’s details for treatment consumables we are happy to help form a list.
